Restaurant Review: Mercato Centrale Firenze

The man who greeted us at our Airbnb in Florence told us we had to try Mercato Centrale while we were in Florence. It was just a short walk away and had lots of different restaurants to try, as well as a market.

So we headed there for our first dinner in Florence. Unsure what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The ground floor of the warehouse type building is a market where you can buy fresh fruits, veggies, etc, and the first floor has multiple little restaurants with a bar in the center. It was similar to an American food court, but awesome.

Above the first floor are two loft style sit down restaurants.

The Husband loved it! Look how happy he is!

If the awesome décor and equally as awesome ambience aren’t enough to make you want to eat here, wait until you see the food!

Some of the best pizza we had in Italy.

Fresh pasta and cheese. So good!

I could seriously eat there everyday. Truth be told, we ate three meals there and we were only in Florence for two nights!
