Airbnb Review: Regensburg, Germany

We stayed in Regensburg, Germany, for four nights during our 2023 Europe trip. My friend from Tampa is from Regensburg, and her family still lives there, so we planned our visit for when she would be there.

We wanted to stay central to Regensburg and the Danube while also being an easy drive to where my friend was staying, at her sister’s house. We found Anna-Lena’s place and it was perfect.

The one bedroom, one bathroom flat was located in an updated building with a view of the Danube. The apartment was a little hard to get to but our taxi eventually found it. The host met us outside and gave us the keys and showed us around the building and the apartment. The key was a physical key with a very fee if it is lost. Carrying it was too much stress for me so The Husband was in charge of it, and safely returned it at the end of our stay.

The open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen was bright and spacious, and very comfortable. The living room and bedroom were very spacious as well, with a small balcony off the bedroom. But the best part was the large balcony off the living room facing the Danube. It was cold when we were there, but it was still awesome to sit and watch the boats go down the river.

I thought the view was gorgeous when we checked in at night, but it was incredible during the day! It was literally a picture-perfect quaint Germany town view. I honestly could have stayed here all day long, just enjoying the view.

Our four night stay was only $624. The building was really nice and the apartment was fully stocked with anything we could have needed. When I return to Regensburg someday, I would absolutely stay here again.
