Dr. Seuss Museum

We drove from New Haven to Vermont and randomly saw the sign for the Dr. Seuss Museum on the highway in Springfield, MA. I love the Dr. Seuss books, especially The Places You’ll Go so I immediately exited and followed the directions to the museum.

It was everything I would want a Dr. Seuss museum to be. It had the Lorax, Horton, the Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, and so much more!

There were multiple rooms that were set up like Ted Geisel’s childhood, including the bakery owned by his family. There were also letters he wrote to his nephew that gave you insight into his imagination.

If you love Dr. Seuss books and are in Springfield, MA, this museum is a must-see!
