Pro Football Hall of Fame, Canton, OH

While I’m a huge Buffalo Bills fan (go Bills!) I’m not exactly a foot ball fan. I hate to see these players hurting themselves and other for our entertainment (and millions of dollars). When the Bills win the Super Bowl will be the end of me watching football.

But I digress. The Husband, on the other hand, is a HUGE sports fan. He’s dragged encouraged me to go to a few other sports hall of fame locations, but somehow we never made it to his favorite sport hall of fame, the NFL.

Located in Canton, OH, the Pro Football Hall of Fame wasn’t in the most convenient spot until we did a month-long Midwest road trip. It was the perfect spot to stop between Pittsburgh and Columbus.

The self-guided tour starts with a very detailed history of American football. It was interesting to see the older uniforms, with their lack of safety equipment. As a barely-fan, it was a bit overwhelming and a little boring. But boy were the groups of guys around us really happy. I’ve honestly never seen so many giddy older men.

If you are a football, it’s definitely worth the visit. Check the website before going to see what special events are coming up, and buy your tickets ahead of time.
