One-Eyed Cat Brewing a new brewery in Williamsville, just outside of Buffalo proper. Randomly, our friend in Florida is dating one of the owners so we had to check it out while we were up in Buffalo.
According to the website, it is named after the scrappy one-eyed cats on the street, cats who have taken a beating and are still standing, because Buffalo is like a one-eyed cat. That’s honestly the most Buffalo appropriate thing I’ve ever heard.
We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon before their kids’ Halloween party. It was decorated really cute for Halloween and I wanted to stay and see the llamas but we didn’t have time.
The brewery is an older house, very typical to Buffalo. It’s super pretty outside and just as nice inside. They even have a lending library, which I love!
The Husband and I ordered flights and took them outside to the patio. The flight board were very unique and super easy to walk with. The beers were mostly the kind that I don’t tend to drink, but they were still very good. The gose stood out to me as the best of the bunch.
The vibe was super cool and the beer was good. I would definitely stop there again.
