Five years ago, we ran off to the beach and got married. Yep, we eloped at the Don CeSar in St Pete Beach.
Yes, that is a Vera Wang dress that I’m wearing in the Gulf of Mexico.
We’ve travelled a lot over the last five years, starting with our honeymoon in England and France.
Westminster Abbey, London
Stonehenge, Amesbury, England
The Louvre, Paris
Moët & Chandon, Épernay, France
We travelled all over the US and Canada.
New Orleans, LA (one of many times)
Atlanta, GA (one of many times)
Miami, FL (again, one of many times)
San Francisco, CA
Napa, CA
Asheville, NC
Nottoway Plantation, LA (on our steamboat cruise down the Mississippi)
Denver, CO (also, this is one of my favorite pictures of us ever! Why is he so willing to get destroyed by the dragon’s fire?!)
San Antonio, TX
New York, NY (at Hamilton!)
St Anthony, Newfoundland, CA
Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick
Churchill, Manitoba, CA (note the sleeping polar bear over the Husband’s shoulder)
Stanley Park, Vancouver, CA
Butchart Gardens, Victoria, CA
We saw Switzerland and Italy.
Zurich, Switzerland
Lugano, Switzerland
Portofino, Italy
Rome, Italy
We spent a little time in the Caribbean.
Dominican Republic
Veradero, Cuba
And most recently, we went to Spain.
La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain.
And, of course, we spent a lot of time exploring Tampa and visiting our family in Buffalo.
Seneca Lake, NY
Buffalo Bills game, Orchard Park, NY
I’m sure I missed some of our shorter trips, and I know we saw Seattle, Charleston, and Savannah. It’s an amazing thing, being lucky enough to travel so much that you can’t keep track!
And during all this travel, we still managed to work and buy a house!
St Joe’s Hospital North, Tampa, FL
I’m so grateful that I found someone that will travel as much as we can, and that likes to travel like I do. We both base our travels on food, we fly through museums, and we prefer local jaunts over tourist spots any day.
Thank you, Husband, for dealing with me. Happy 5th anniversary!
