Island time must have been invented on Capri, the small island off the coast of Italy. It’s easily accessible via ferry from Naples but it is a world away.
Now, I’m not one for just sitting around, looking at the view and doing nothing. But I could have literally sat all day, drinking my café and eating gelato.
I love Capri.
If you somehow actually get sick of sitting and enjoying the view, you could walking around the charming island, sipping a Limoncello slushie and having custom made sandals created just for you.
Or you could buy the world’s largest lemons.
Yes, those are lemons!!
Or maybe you could buy the best souvenir to take home: lemon chocolate! Oh, it’s so heavenly. I wish I would have bought more. Like all of it.
Wandering around Capri.
But really, you are there for the beautiful water and the grottos. The blue grotto is the most famous, but the green grotto is just as beautiful.
The green grotto.
The line to go in to the blue grotto. The wait was longer than our time on Capri; we already had our return ferry tickets.
The rest of the island is just as breathtaking too. I highly recommend taking a boat tour.
Please, go to Capri. And bring me back some lemon chocolate!
