Chicken parm is one of the Husband’s favorite foods, second to pizza, so when he he saw Parm on Food Network’s Top Five show, we knew we had to go.
Although there are multiple locations in NYC, the original being on Mulberry, we went to the Battery Park City, since it’s near the neighborhood we lived in when we lived in Manhattan.
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the inviting 50’s diner vibe with the red, white, and black checkers and the leather booths.
How gorgeous is that floor?!
We sat at the bar and ordered the chicken parm sandwiches (obviously). I had mine on a roll and the Husband had his on a hero.
Have you ever seen a more beautiful chicken parm sandwich?
The fresh bread, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil make this sandwich EVERYTHING.
They also have eggplant and meatball parm, in addition to a full Italian menu.
The next time you find yourself hungry in NYC, make sure you visit Parm!
