Oof, I meant to write this hotel review three months ago. Better late than never, I suppose.
My real life job is in sales and in 2020 I exceeded my quota. Since we were in the depths of COVID my company did a concierge experience, instead of a group trip. For my trip, I decided The Husband and I should go to NYC and stay in a bougie hotel and see all the Christmas decorations.
My concierge booked us at The Pierre, a Taj hotel. We lived in the financial district when we lived in NYC so we tend to gravitate to that area. It was nice to stay near Central Park; we knew we would be eating a lot so having the park to walk at was key, even though it was freezing.
The hotel was very old-money fancy. Lots of marble and dark wood in the lobby and I was definitely expecting an elevator operator every time the doors opened.

The rooms were bright and oh so comfortable.

And the view was amazing!

The Pierre was close to the train, an easy walk to a lot of pizza spots we wanted to try (and other things), and definitely lived up to it’s 5 star rating. We would definitely stay here again!
