From Crown to Couture at Kensington Palace, London

The current exhibit at the Kensington Palace state rooms is Crown to Couture, with gowns, suits, jewelry, and bags from the 18th century Georgian Royal Court to the Met gala today. Tatler called it from Beyoncé to Bridgerton, and I can’t think of a better way to describe it.

When you enter the palace, you head straight into the exhibit. The pieces are real pieces, whether it’s actual clothes from the 18th century to outfits worn by Daniel Levy, Queen Bey, Billy Porter, Blake Lively, and others. The clothes were stunning, and the craftsmanship was so impressive.

You walk thought multiple rooms of the Crown to Couture exhibit, and end in the Queen and King state apartments, along with Queen Victoria’s playroom as a child.

This amazing walk though the history of dramatic fashion is only on display until October 29th so if you’re coming to London in the next month I highly recommend seeing it!
