We stayed in the cutest little Airbnb in Edinburgh. We booked a little late and since it was the Fringe Festival, the Reading Festival, and the Royal Military Tattoo, there were few options and they were pretty expensive.
Luckily we found a Victorian garden flat, built in 1850’s, that was close to many of the main attractions and still had that Edinburgh feel.
The inside was small but very well designed and organized. The kitchen was tiny but very functional. I did laundry and cooked a few things without any problem, despite the size.
The dining room/living room was also well organized for smaller place. The furniture was quite comfy and it was nice to sit at the table in the window and write.
Like the rest of the flat, the bathroom was small but functional. The door had a frosted glass window, which was directly in front of the toilet. It would probably be a little awkward for a new couple.
The bedroom was a good size, with a comfy bed.
At $1,971 for the week, it was a little expensive but we still really enjoyed it. The buses and tram stops were a block away, making all of Edinburgh easily accessible when we didn’t want to walk. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Edinburgh.
