Hotel Review: Loews Boston

The Husband and I used to stay at the Loews Hotels pretty frequently, including getting married at one (The Don Cesar in St Pete Beach was a Loews when we eloped there). When he finally convinced me to go back to Boston I figured it was the perfect time to stay at a Loews again.

We booked three nights at the Loews Boston at the end of a week long road trip around New England. The building used to be the City of Boston Police Headquarters and it is gorgeous.

Check in was easy and our room was ready earlier, which is always nice. The lobby had a great seating area with large TVs and a coffee machine much better than the Keurigs in the room.

We booked a deluxe king, which is one tier up from the standard room. The room was nice but it was really small. It was set up weirdly and there was very little walking room. The Husband had to keep his suitcase open on the floor of the closet, since there was no where else to put it.

The best part of all Loews Hotels is the bathroom. I am obsessed with Julien Farel hair products, which are the products used at the Loews Hotels. It is the only hotel shampoo and conditioner I use. I literally try and scheme ways to get as many little bottles as I can during my stay.

I would normally say I would return, but as of August 16th it will no longer be operated by Loews. New owners are taking over and it will be operated by AKA Hotel Collection.
