Restaurant Review: Bulla Gastrobar Tampa

Tampa is a gorgeous city, full of lush green trees and stunning water views. But the one thing that’s been missing since I moved here in 2009 is rooftop bars! We should be taking advantage of our gorgeous scenery from the best view, the sky! The rooftop bar scene is slowly stepping up their game (hello, Epicurean Hotel‘s Edge rooftop bar) and the newest one, at Bulla Gastrobar, is top notch! The rooftop bar, Luna Lounge, has a great view of Tampa and a limited, yet delicious, tapas menu. However, if you are looking for a full tapas experience, start downstairs at Bulla.

First things first, order a pitcher of sangria! It’s delicious and oh so pretty.

The red sangria is everything a sangria should be. Cheers!

Next, start ordering everything off the menu, and don’t stop until your full! The patatas bravas were so close to the ones we had in Barcelona, I could almost convince myself I was there!

I dare you to find a more beautiful potato tapas in all of Tampa!

No tapas in complete without cheese and charcuterie.

I never say no to peppers and these padrónes rellenos were amazing!

The Husband and I ordered so much, and we ate every bite! Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned exquisitely, and exactly what I was hoping it would be.

After you’re fat and happy, head upstairs to the rooftop bar. Enjoy a delicious cocktail, or one of their beers or wines, and enjoy the view.
