Tampa Restaurant Review: Intelligent Gourmet

I’ve been on a mission to try every restaurant in my neighborhood, and I finally made it to Intelligent Gourmet. It’s not a conventional restaurant; instead they have premade healthy meals to take home, although they will heat it up for you so you can eat it there. You can also order meals and juices and have them delivered to your home. They take the prep out of meal planning.

How cute is the outside?

Lots of cute sitting areas.

They didn’t have any menus but the fridge was organized into categories and everything was labeled.

Take your pick.

I decided on the stuffed pepper and the apple crisp (the girl working said it was delicious), for a total of $18.

The pepper was pretty good, but I wish it came with heating instructions and nutrition info. The apple crisp was decent, but I imagine people that eat dessert aren’t exactly the targeted consumer.

The only downside was the lack of information on the container. I had no idea how long to heat it up. And I didn’t know exactly what was in it to enter it in to Myfitnesspal. But it was still better than all the dishes I would have made trying to make it myself!
