Woodcliff Hotel and Spa is one of the nicer full service hotels in the Rochester area. It’s located in Victor, just outside Rochester, and lucky for me, only a few miles from where my family lives.
I had an open Sunday morning while I was waiting to pick The Husband up from the airport, so I booked a massage at Woodcliff. I’ve been to the spa a few times and it’s always relaxing.
The waiting area is so cozy. It’s super lovely in the winter, when there’s snow on the trees and the fireplace is lit. It was a colder, rainy day, so the fireplace was lit and I just pretended there was snow.
The locker room and robes were as expected at a nice spa. Lockers that lock, white terry cloth robes and rubber slippers, and the usual hair ties, razors, and other item available.
I booked a combo massage, relaxation and therapeutic. I have a lot of knots everywhere but I also just wanted to relax, so it was perfect. The room was comfortable and the massage therapist was great. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Woodcliff Resort and Spa is definitely a hidden gem in the Rochester area. I highly recommend booking a treatment while in the area.
