The 800+ year old Temple Church in London was built for the Knights Templar. While it was made popular by the Da Vinci Code (similar to Rosslyn Chapel), it’s historical significance is from the signing of the Magna Carta.
It was really cool to see the history of the church and the Knights Templar. The history was well documented and laid out in an easy to follow display inside the church. The tombs laid throughout the church were also interesting to see.

The structure itself wasn’t as impressive as many of the others in Europe, but the history makes it worth visiting. The Husband, who appreciates history more than I do, found the church fascinating.
