Gordon’s Wine Bar is the oldest wine bar in London, dating back to 1890, and still very much has the ambiance of decades past.
The wine bar feels more like an intimate wine cave, with low ceiling and low lit rooms. You feel immediately transported to a different time, when people were more interested in their company than their phones and IRL conversations were of the upmost importance.
They have a great wine list, with something for every palate. They also have food, but we only had drinks while we were there. I highly recommend grabbing a seat inside and a great glass of wine and enjoying the old world atmosphere.

Gordon’s Wine Bar is an absolute must-do when in London. It’s close to many shows and the AIRE Spa, so there are plenty of reasons to check out the area and grab a drink here.
They are currently not accepting reservations, so arrive when they first open to get a seat inside.
