In keeping with the Husband’s love-for-beer theme on our last trip to California, we stopped at the home of one of his other favorite beers, Lagunitas Brewing Company, in Petaluma, CA. He loves their Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale. And I love breweries, especially ones with gorgeous outdoor areas and delicious food.

How cool is that entrance? And look how happy the Husband is.

That sign made me laugh really hard…

A photobooth is the best addition to an outdoor space.

Think of the get-togethers you could have here!

Their own concert area. Californians are so cool.

My grandfather would have appreciated the combination of farming equipment and repurposing.
I know, I know. The outside is cool but that’s not what people really care about. So let’s get to the beer!
They have so many kinds of beer to chose from, some unlimited release, some limited. You can find their list of beer here. They have a beer for every taste, whether you love stouts, IPAs, or you don’t really like beer at all. When we were there, they had a special release of their Supercritical beer, which is infused with cannabis terpenes. Of course we tried it, and it was definitely interesting.

Here’s my flight. Don’t you just love the names?

The Husband’s flight. He does love his hops.

Pot beer.
One of the most surprising part of our stop at Lagunitas was the food. I literally talked about my sandwich for the rest of the trip (and probably even after, and definitely now today). It was a grilled chicken pesto sandwich and the flavor was perfect and the chicken was perfect and everything was perfect! The Husband had the sausage and he loved it, and I loved the mustard that it came with.

The Husband’s lunch.

My glorious sandwich.
We loved everything about Lagunitas. I hope we can stay longer on our next trip.
