Bookstores are one of my favorite places to visit while traveling. I love books and I try to buy a book as my souvenir everywhere we go. And I absolutely love unique and fun bookstores, like the book barge in London.
So when I learned about Giunti Odeon, a bookstore inside a theater in Florence, I had to go. I knew before we walked through the doors that I would love it. The building is gorgeous, and the inside is just incredible. Everything from the elevator to the arrangement of the bookshelves was perfection. If I lived in Florence, I would be there all the time. I would probably have to get a job there to justify being there so much. I don’t love watching movies but I think I would love watching one there.
Giunti Odeon needs to be on everyone’s list for Florence, even if you aren’t a reader. It’s so cool to see such a well-designed space.
