Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater: A Photoblog

Fallingwater is arguably Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous architecture, and it’s easy to see why. When you arrive for a visit you check in at the visitors center and then begin the walk with your tour group to the house (there is a handicap shuttle as well). The walk through the woods is gorgeous but a bit mountainous and you can’t help but wonder how they arrived at the house in the winter.

Your tour guide takes you through the main house and the guest quarters, both of which you are prohibited from photographing (darn it!). But after your tour you can wander around the grounds for as long as you wish and take as many photos from the outside that you care to.

(We stayed in a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired house while we were there- read about that here.)
