*Giveaway has ended, thanks to everyone who entered!*
Yes, we have our state fair in February! The best part about living in Florida is the weather, hands down. And February is generally perfect! Low humidity, lots of sun, and NO SNOW!!! (You can tell I’m from Buffalo!).
The 114th Florida State Fair will return to Tampa February 8th-19th, 2018 at the Fairgrounds. Situated on more than 15 acres, the Fair has the largest Midway in North America, with 110 different rides!
Rides not your thing? No problem! There are tons of attractions, delicious eats, and musical acts! New this year are meet and greets with Paw Patrol and Rusty Rivets, shows with Teen Stars Live and the Florida State Fair Dance Championships featuring stars of Dance Moms, BMX/FMX Freestyle Madness, the Ninja Experience, Mini Monster Trucks, and so much more! And if the delicious eats grabbed your attention, wait until you see the newest midway treats! I can’t wait to see the Surf N Turf Sundae, Southern Catfish Sundae, and BBQ Pulled Pork Ribbon Fries.
Looking for an educational activity for the little ones? Head over to Little Farm Hands presented by Mosaic. Children age 3-10 can learn about farming in this hands-on exhibit. Children can milk a cow, gather eggs, and pick produce.
If you’re nostalgic like me, you can also watch as the Country Gold show takes you down America’s golden country memory lane, watch the Elvis Extravaganza National Championship, or pay tribute to the Rat Pack.
Are you as excited as I am for the Fair? Do you want to win FOUR admission tickets and FOUR unlimited ride bands? To enter, comment below with your favorite fair ride or attraction! A winner will be chosen Monday, January 29th, 2018. The tickets will be available at will call. Photo ID will be required.

You can also buy tickets here.
See you all at the fair!
Disclaimer: The tickets were provided to me but my opinions are all my own. And sometimes the Husband’s.
We love the crazy food options, the livestock and all the arts and crafts. Great for Christmas gifts !!!!
Does the food count as an attraction? Because that would be my favorite part of the fair! Ha!
Oh, the smell! And, the sights! The sounds! I love it all! The rides, for my grandson 😉
We love Cracker Country and feeding the giraffes! My three year old is hoping he is tall enough to go on some of the “big rides” with his brother and sister.
My favorite ride is the carousel! I love all the lights and watching the little babie’s eyes light up at all the sounds!
Congrats! You won four tickets to the Florida State Fair! Please email your name as it on your license to travel@leobath.com
I love all the lights on carousel, watching everyone’s eyes light up when it’s dark, it’s pure magic!
My favorite ride would have to be the zipper. It’s a classic. The fair allows my inner kid to come out. However, I truly enjoy trying all the crazy food concoctions and games. Watch out for that dunk tank clown. He’s hilarious!
